Nancy Slatsky

Nancy Slatsky has always had a love of pastry, and began her career after graduating from The California Culinary Academy in San Francisco where she then stayed for many years, working at some of the finest bakeries and restaurants in the city. This led to her holding the pastry chef position at the Stanford Court Hotel on Nob Hill.


She then relocated to Montana, where she continued to polish her skills while using ingredients native to the state, and even got the opportunity to be the food stylist on Robert Redford’s “The Horse Whisperer.”


Twenty years ago, she relocated to Jacksonville Florida, where she served as pastry chef at The Lodge and Club in Ponte Vedra Beach. Nancy later helped to open One Ocean Resort in Atlantic Beach as pastry chef, where for many years she created life sized ginger bread masterpieces at Christmastime which are still a tradition at the resort today.


Six years ago, Nancy stepped out of the kitchen, and into her current position as consultant and sales specialist with Swiss Chalet Fine Foods where she covers the South Georgia and North Florida areas. She frequently finds herself back in the kitchen to do what she loves to do: make sweets!
