Michael Cutter

Executive Sous Chef Michael Cutter graduated Summa Cum Laude from Johnson and Wales in 2001, with his bachelor’s degree. He started his career with Marriott seventeen years ago at the Orlando World Center Marriott and quickly climbed the ranks. Chef Cutter began his first role in culinary management as a supervisor for 1st floor culinary kitchen, overseeing the food court and room service. Traveling around to further his career, he has held positions at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale, the Renaissance at SeaWorld Orlando, the Renaissance in Chicago at the Loop, and the Marriott Magnificent Mile in Chicago.  He currently oversees the operation of nine different outlets for the world’s largest Marriott.

Having traveled around Europe, Thailand, China and Japan, Chef Cutter uses those experiences as inspiration for his dishes, while also taking pride in sourcing local ingredients from farms to produce international flavors in his cuisine.
